Draft for commercial and legal review This is a working draft, not a legally approved document. Pricing figures reflect what's currently configured in the product — everything else on this page needs founder and legal confirmation before it's relied on.

Subscription and Billing Terms

Pricing basis

Fleet Shield's self-serve platform subscription is priced per vehicle: AUD $17.50 per vehicle per month, as configured in the live product today. Implementation, integration, and enterprise/government pricing is quoted individually — see the Fleet Shield page for the current commercial structure.

Billing interval

The self-serve subscription bills monthly, in advance. Subscription quantity (the number of billed vehicles) updates automatically as vehicles are added to or removed from an account, and is reflected on the next invoice.

Taxes

[Placeholder — GST/tax treatment depends on JEGASEC's tax registration status, which has not been confirmed in this repository. Requires founder input and accounting/legal advice before this section is finalised.]

Implementation and integration fees

Where an engagement requires implementation support, custom integration, or migration assistance, those fees are quoted and agreed separately before work begins — see "Enterprise & government" on the Fleet Shield page.

Renewals

Self-serve subscriptions renew automatically each billing period unless cancelled. Organisational or enterprise agreements renew on the terms set out in that agreement.

Payment failures

If a payment fails, the account is marked "past due" and access continues for a grace period while payment is retried, consistent with Stripe's standard retry behaviour. If payment cannot be collected, access may be suspended until it's resolved. [Placeholder — exact grace-period length and suspension timing should be confirmed and stated explicitly after legal review.]

Cancellation

You may cancel a self-serve subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. [Placeholder — confirm the precise cancellation mechanism and effective date wording during legal review.]

Refunds

[Placeholder — no refund policy has been finalised yet. Do not state a refund policy to a customer until this section has been reviewed and approved by the founder and, where appropriate, a lawyer.]

Plan changes

Adding vehicles increases subscription quantity immediately; removing vehicles reduces it, with the adjustment reflected on the next invoice consistent with standard Stripe subscription proration behaviour. [Placeholder — confirm final proration wording during legal review.]

Pilot-to-paid conversion

Where an organisation begins on a pilot or design-partner arrangement, conversion to a paid subscription (and any pilot-specific pricing) is agreed separately in the applicable pilot agreement, not by this document alone.

Organisational invoicing & purchase orders

Government, council, utility, and enterprise customers may arrange invoicing and purchase-order-based payment instead of self-serve card billing — see "Enterprise & government" on the Fleet Shield page, or request an organisational quote.
