Fleet Shield Terms of Service

1. Business identity
Fleet Shield is a product of Gobi Jegarajasingham, trading as JEGASEC Defence Technologies ("JEGASEC," "we," "us"), an Australian business. JEGASEC is not currently an incorporated company — these terms should be reviewed and updated if that changes.
2. Eligibility and authority
By creating an organisational account, you confirm that you are authorised to act on behalf of the organisation you're registering, and that the organisation has the authority to enter into these terms.
3. Product access
Fleet Shield is currently made available through controlled demonstrations, design partnerships, and approved pilot or beta deployments, rather than unrestricted public self-service. Access is granted at JEGASEC's discretion following a request or application.
4. Pilot or beta status
Where your organisation is using Fleet Shield as part of a pilot, beta, or design-partner arrangement, functionality, reliability, pricing, and support levels may differ from a general-availability commercial release, and may change based on feedback from the pilot. Any pilot-specific terms agreed separately (for example in a pilot agreement) take precedence over this document where they conflict.
5. Authorised use
Fleet Shield must only be used to manage fleets, vehicles, personnel, and systems that your organisation is authorised to administer. See the Acceptable Use Policy for further detail.
6. Customer responsibilities
- Providing accurate organisation and account information
- Ensuring only authorised personnel have login access
- Using the product in line with these terms and the Acceptable Use Policy
- Notifying us promptly of any suspected unauthorised access
7. Account security
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. Multi-factor authentication is available and recommended. We are not responsible for losses arising from credentials you failed to keep secure.
8. Customer data
You retain ownership of the fleet, vehicle, and operational data you submit to Fleet Shield ("customer data"). We use customer data to provide the service to you, and do not sell it. See the Fleet Shield Privacy Notice for how it's handled.
9. Service changes
Fleet Shield is an early-stage, actively developed product. Features may be added, changed, or removed as the product develops, particularly during a pilot or beta period. We'll aim to give reasonable notice of changes that materially affect your use of the product.
10. Availability
We aim to keep Fleet Shield available and reliable, but as an early-stage product we do not currently offer a formal uptime guarantee or service-level agreement. Planned maintenance and unplanned outages may occur.
11. Suspension
We may suspend access to an account where we reasonably believe it's being used in breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, where payment has failed, or where suspension is necessary to protect the security or integrity of the service or other customers' data.
12. Termination
Either party may end the arrangement in line with the notice period agreed at signup, in a pilot agreement, or in the Subscription and Billing Terms. On termination, we'll provide a reasonable opportunity to export your customer data before it is deleted.
13. Fees
Fees, billing frequency, and payment terms are set out in the Subscription and Billing Terms.
14. Intellectual property
JEGASEC retains all rights in the Fleet Shield software, platform, and branding. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of that intellectual property to you. You retain ownership of your customer data.
15. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to keep the other's confidential information confidential, and to use it only for the purposes of the Fleet Shield relationship. Where a separate confidentiality agreement is in place for your engagement, that agreement governs.
16. Disclaimers
Fleet Shield is provided on an early-stage, "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we don't make warranties beyond those required by the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation. 17. Limitation of liability

18. Governing law
These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, subject to confirmation during legal review. [Placeholder — confirm jurisdiction and venue with a lawyer.]
